Portland, Oregon Food Guide

I came to the realization that I hate having a plan more than I hate not having a plan;

anxiety festers in routine for me.

What’s the point of faith if you have your whole life planned out?

This trip to Portland put me in my place;

LET LIFE INTERRUPT YOU.

YOUR PLANS

YOUR IDEAS

YOUR FOOD

because I can guarantee you… what you are searching for might just be searching for you to. Sometimes in the form of something tastier than the menu you had planned yourself…

Wallflower Coffee - highly recommend the Steve Jobs… sweet apple cider latte. Say no more.

Mestizo - possibly the best first meal off a plane I’ve ever had. GLUTEN-FREE, vegan-friendly, BIPOC woman owned restaurant with a perfect menu and location. Get the Pozolito . (One word: HOMANY.)

Tartuca - came upon this place walking to somewhere else. Life gives sweet interruptions (this one came in the form of amazing Oregon wine. Pair your risotto with a glass bottle of Oregon’s own skin contact Orange pinot.

Interurban - Obsessed with the entire street, but come to Interurban on of Mississippi Ave for a whiskey and chill vibe.

Angel Face - I’m a decision girl, but I love that at this cocktail only bar you give them your taste pallet and they create a drink for you. Had a “cabaret” made with gin and cherry. Couldn’t of had two… ;)

Never Coffee - Headed over here after my time at the legendary Powell Books. Perfectly harmonized half-caf oat cappuccino with friendly staff and cute decor.

Paadee - “The Thai phrase “paa dee” literally means “to bring good things”. The concept is simple – to provide good things is to walk the path of happiness.” We got a huge spread of thai favorites… but never have I ever experienced a Pork Belly like this one.

Poa Cafe - healthy brunch, wide menu. Explore the neighborhood after your fill up!
